In this article, we are going to guide you through the Step 5 of the integration process: Doing your first sync

If this is the first time you are completing this process, you will need to choose a plan. Enter the coupon code ‘ccbchimp” (all lowercase letters) into the plan you choose and click on ‘Choose This Plan’ to get a free, 14-day, zero-down trial. Complete the form shown with your credit card information and click ‘Submit’. 

Once you have completed this process or if this isn’t your first time, you will be taken to the final step. 

On the new website screen, click on ‘Sync Now’ to complete the syncing process or if you need revisit your settings, click on “Skip this step” . 

If you are syncing, this can often take a while, especially if it is your first sync. You may need to wait as long as 2-3 hours and as short as 15 minutes. Sometimes, the first sync fails. This can happen with large accounts. It can also happen with data-heavy accounts. 

You can logout at this point. We will send you an email when it is completed.

Once the CCBChimp sync is done, we send the information over to MailChimp. MailChimp processes things in batch. So, we suggest giving MC at least 30 minutes to 1 hour to sync this new information. 

If you wish to make changes, you simply repeat the process by clicking on your profile image and then clicking on Integrations. Obviously, there are some steps (or parts of steps) which you may not need to redo.
