In this article, we are going to talk about part of the toolkit. The toolkit contains several series of code which we have written during our development. We wanted to make sure you have certain abilities.

To get to the Toolkit

Individual Profiles / Additional Merge Fields

From your dashboard, click on Settings (gear icon, gold arrow in image below). Choose Tools from the dropdown menu (pink box in image below).

Click the downward arrow near your profile name (brown arrow in image below). Then click on Tools (blue box in image below).

The Tools page will open. The Individual Profiles / Additional Merge Fields tool is highlighted in the images below: V2 - pink box / V1 - brown box.

To use this tool, toggle on the button. In V2 it will turn pink/red. In V1 it will turn green.

Now, click on the Edit Additional Merge Fields button - yellow in V2, blue in V1.

This opens a screen that offers you a list of standard and additional merge fields.


Enable all the merge fields you want by clicking on the greyed out buttons to turn them pink/red.


Enable all the merge fields you want by clicking on the red buttons to turn them green.


Merge fields like birth date, salutation, suffix, gender, marital status and family position are only available on our higher plans. All plans (free and paid) can merge the basic email, and first and last name into emails. So your emails can begin with the person’s name, e.g. “Hi Dave”. Users of the medium plan and up can also use these fields to segment lists. Just briefly for now, you could segment your lists by gender, birth date or marital status for example.
